1. Location, Location, Location

The simplest answer is proximity.

Seattle is a mere 3-hour drive from Portland. The next closest team is Seattle’s NFC rival and Sunday’s opponent, the San Francisco 49ers — 10 hours away. Although it may be hard to get tickets to see the the NFC’s No. 1 Seahawks, it’s a much quicker trip to the stadium.
