Another dramatic weekend for the Blazers brought them to 21-4 and kept them a top the northwest division.
Saturday’s game against the 76ers was a record setter for the Blazers as they scored 139 points, the most a team has scored this season, en route to a 139-105 victory. Tensions rose in this game near the end when Blazers’ Meyers Leonard and 76ers’ Daniel Orton got tangled up, ejected and consequently suspended for a game. [CSNNW]

Sunday night Damian Lillard was the hero in overtime with a jumper at the buzzer to push Portland over Detroit 111-109. LaMarcus Aldridge also added to his impressive season and MVP campaign Thursday when he had the first 30-point, 25-rebound game in Blazers’ history. [ESPN]
