Another dramatic weekend for the Blazers brought them to 21-4 and kept them a top the northwest division.

Saturday’s game against the 76ers was a record setter for the Blazers as they scored 139 points, the most a team has scored this season, en route to a 139-105 victory. Tensions rose in this game near the end when Blazers’ Meyers Leonard and 76ers’ Daniel Orton got tangled up, ejected and consequently suspended for a game. [CSNNW]

They also had a franchise record of 21 3-pointers made in this game. [ABC]

Sunday night Damian Lillard was the hero in overtime with a jumper at the buzzer to push Portland over Detroit 111-109. LaMarcus Aldridge also added to his impressive season and MVP campaign Thursday when he had the first 30-point, 25-rebound game in Blazers’ history. [ESPN]

  • The Winterhawks split a series with the Seattle Thunderbirds this weekend with a 3-2 loss Friday and a 5-3 win Sunday on Teddy Bear Night. [Winterhawks]
  • The Oregon Ducks’ basketball team moved up to No. 13 in the AP poll after coming up strong against Illinois in a 71-64 comeback victory. The Ducks are 9-0 but are second to Arizona in the PAC-12. Arizona is holding steady at the top spot in the AP poll. [OregonLive]
  • The Seahawks routed the New York Giants 23-0 for their 12th win of the season on Sunday. The defense led the charge with 5 interceptions. They only need to win one of their next two home games to clinch the NFC West and home field advantage throughout the playoffs. [Seahawks]
