6. Fang T. Rattler

Wisconsin Timber Rattlers - Fang T. RattlerTeam: Wisconsin Timber Rattlers
League: Midwest League
Affiliate: Brewers (Class A)

Bonus points (+4) for being the only snake mascot in the country. But negative points (-4) for being a snake with arms and legs. Isn’t that called a lizard? The Arizona Diamondbacks (rattlesnake) don’t have to worry about their mascot’s credibility since they made him a bobcat. That’s reason enough to throw the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers in our Top 10, since they’ve got the guts to go where pro teams don’t.

BIO: Fang is the only “snake” mascot in the Minors. In fact, he’s the only snake that has arms and legs that dances on dugout tops, shakes his rattle and shoots Wisconsin brats into the stands with his famous “Bratzooka Gun.” His enthusiasm is endless, not only for baseball, but also for encouraging youth reading. Fang visits thousands of students each year promoting this healthy lifestyle. When he’s not visiting students, he’s heavily involved in the local community.
