Damian Lillard Wins Rookie of the Month for April
The 6-foot-3 guard joined Oscar Robertson and Allen Iverson as the only three rookies in NBA history to record at least 1,500 points and 500 assists.

The Weber State product played in all 82 games this season, leading NBA rookies with 19.0 points and a team-high 6.5 assists to go with 3.1 rebounds in 38.6 minutes. Portland selected Lillard with the sixth overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.
New York’s Chris Copeland earned Kia NBA Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month honors.
Kia, a proud partner of the Portland Trail Blazers, will present Lillard with the Kia NBA Western Conference Rookie of the Month award at a later date.
