Fall is just around the corner, but Portland is still the in full swing of summer with plenty to do and see throughout the city.

Whether you’re looking to walk, run, bike or just watch, there’s sure to be something happening for everyone in the Portland area this weekend. Get a glimpse of the goings-on with this list of Portland events for Sept. 19–21.

Patriots Jet Team

Oregon International Air Show

When: Friday: 6:30, Saturday and Sunday: 11:30
Where: Hillsboro Airport

Want to enjoy the last of the beautiful summer weather without working up a sweat? This annual air show is sure to thrill kids and adults alike with planes to explore up close and watch during flight, along with aerobatics and parachutists. Tickets are $25 for adults, $5 for children 6–11 and free for kids ages 0–5. Save on admission Friday evening, when one child under 12 gets in free with each purchase of an adult ticket.

Reed College Community Day and 5K

When: Saturday, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
Where: Reed College

This annual event is open to anyone and everyone interested in learning about local nonprofits, helping local elementary schools and enjoying a day of live music, local food and fun. Activities include a nonprofit business fair, a juggling performance, a dog show, campus tours and the third annual Reed College 5K run/walk. Registration for the Reed College 5K is $30 for adults and $15 for youth 15 and under. Fees include an event T-shirt, and anyone can sign up through the day of the event. The run/walk begins at 9 a.m. and all proceeds go to area elementary schools.

2014 Komen Portland Race for the Cure

When: Sunday, 7 a.m.
Where: Tom McCall Waterfront Park

Get exercise while making a difference at Portland’s annual Race for the Cure event this Sunday. This event includes a 5K run at 8:30 a.m., a 5K walk at 8:45 and a one-mile family walk at 9. Participants can still register through the day of the event and are encouraged to fund-raise for breast cancer research. Adult fees are $50, children five–12 are $15 and children under five are free. Along with the race, participants will enjoy a parade, music, food and fun family events.

Willamette River Bike Ride

When: Sunday, 9:30 a.m.
Where: Sellwood Riverfront Park

The perfect event for both avid and leisure riders alike, this bike trip winds along the Willamette River on several popular Portland bike trails. It is a free event put on by the Portland Wheelmen Touring Club. Riders should expect a 25–30 mile excursion at an easy pace with only a few ups and downs. Partway through, the group will stop for coffee, refreshments and rest. Anyone is welcome, and riders should meet at the upper end of the park.
